Celebrating Success

Recognising and supporting our young people’s achievement within school and in the wider community helps to on our ethos of ‘Growing in Excellence’

We want to celebrate more of our young people’s wider achievements to allow
 

• their confidence and motivation to grow
• them to reflect on the skills they have developed

Achievement covers a wide range of activities:
 

• hobbies and interests, such as participating in a sport
• youth work
• volunteering
• caring for a relative
• activities they undertake in the life of the school or community
• recognised awards or programmes, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Tae Kwon Do, swimming, Sport etc etc

The achievements will be highlighted in a number of ways throughout the school year, including newsletters and house assemblies.
Additionally achievements may be promoted through the school twitter account. Please let us know if you wish to opt out of this.

All achievements will award the young person house points for the inter house competitions we run throughout the year.
