What are the Google Suite (GSuite) Apps and the Microsoft Apps

Google and Microsoft offer similar Apps, although there are differences in how these look and are used. 

The image below shows the Apps available from Google / GSuite and the equivalent App from Microsoft. These are 

• Google Drive = One Drive
• Docs = Word
• Sheets = Excel
• Slides = PowerPoint
• Forms = Forms
• Classroom and Meet (similar to)  = Teams

Important point: Please note that if you create a Microsoft PowerPoint and open it in Google Slides then some of the formatting may not be present (for example the design of the slides may be different as well as any animations or transitions). This also the case if you create a Microsoft Word document and then open it in Google Docs.
