Google Classroom at UGS: Our Base Classes for S1 to S6

Google Classroom has a particular structure at Uddingston Grammar School and this is in relation to Google Classroom Base Classes.

A Base Class is a Google Classroom that has been created for an entire year group and this is the starting point for each pupil. If a pupil is in S4 then the main Google Classroom that they 'belong to' or join is the S4 Base Class which is called "S4 Session ........". Once the pupils join their Base Classroom they then have access to all of the Google Classrooms for their subjects and teachers. The Base Classes will appear like this when a pupil accesses Google Classroom:

The details of these Base Classes have been shared with all of our pupils.

Google Classroom Base Class list:

S1 Session 2021/22 - for all S1 pupils
S2 Session 2021/22 - for all S2 pupils
S3 Session 2021/22 - for all S3 pupils
S4 Session 2021/22 - for all S4 pupils
S5/S6 Session 2021/22 - for all S5/S6 pupils

Within each of the Google Classroom Base Classes there are guides for pupils as well as additional subject specific information. For example in the Senior School there will be details of e-Sgoil Study Support resources etc. In addition to this there is a Health & Wellbeing Google Classroom which provides resources and learning materials for all of our pupils.
